Refund & Cancellation Policy

How cancelling works, when we refund, and how to ask for one.

Scope

This policy applies to payments for Mine Homes Mail plans made to MINE-HOMES ENTERPRISES LIMITED. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Cancelling your plan

You can cancel anytime from your workspace billing settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for and does not renew; your workspace then moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted.

Partial periods

Payments are made in advance and are non-refundable for partially used periods — including when you cancel mid-period, remove people or move to a lower plan — except where this policy says otherwise or the law requires a refund.

Double charges and billing errors

If you are charged twice for the same period, or charged an amount that doesn’t match your plan and seats, we will refund the incorrect amount in full to the original card once we confirm the error. Refunds usually reach your account 5–10 business days after confirmation, depending on your bank.

Annual plans: 14-day window

If you cancel an annual plan within 14 days of your first annual payment, you can request a prorated refund for the unused portion of the year. This applies to the first annual payment for a workspace, not to renewals.

How to request a refund

Email support@mine-homes.com from a workspace owner or billing administrator account and include:

  • your workspace domain;
  • the payment reference, which starts with MHMAIL- and appears on your receipt;
  • the amount, date and a short reason.

Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method through Paystack.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — most issues are resolved faster that way. If a chargeback is raised, we may pause paid features on the workspace while it is investigated, and will provide the card issuer with the relevant billing records.

Currency

All prices, charges and refunds are in Nigerian naira (NGN). If your card is in another currency, your bank’s exchange rate and fees apply, and the amount returned on a refund may differ slightly from the amount originally debited. We are not responsible for those differences.
